Our Vison
Emotional Intelligence is a Practice. It is a practice to learn how to integrate the essential business strategies that work, with our humanness, which is often something we haven’t learned how to do. It is a practice to learn what parts of ourselves create more synergy and space for living wholly, and what parts need support to not get in the way or worse.
Most of us have been taught to disconnect from that humanness or any embodied living in order to fit in, push through stress and be successful. In fact, for many, we have been taught it is essential in order to build our careers. There are internal costs to believing we can disconnect, like illness, relational breakdown and burn out. There are also external costs, like turnover, litigation, and toxic relationships.
Most of us know that our humanness creeps in. Through years of work, we know that cultures that learn to harness how to value individual uniqueness, express and communicate clearly, manage conflict and relationships and manage stress, have more success overall. When we can be authentic in a way that includes ourselves and can uplift others, it helps everyone.
When we do not identify and have language and practice to discuss the difference between resilience and burnout, self esteem and bullying, vulnerability and toxic expression, we often cannot create healthy spaces for ourselves and others. When we do not know the difference between a strategy that gives off mixed messages, and one that works and integrates the values you want to see, it undermines organizational goals. How we integrate core values, how those values work across a whole organization and individual differences, where it becomes led at each level of the organization is a matter of architecture rather than a hope that it grows organically.
What is so amazing is that the noise starts to disappear. There is more creativity, plans don’t get undermined, communication allows for productivity, there is less need to micromanage and babysit. In short, there is less recruitment and turnover, far fewer operational inefficiencies and decreased time and energy spent managing ineffective relationships.
We believe that the spark that inspires an idea that becomes a business should be supported in all individuals in an environment that is easeful, creative and is a container for true synergy and flow.
